Job description

- You will be working alongside the pharmacist and the rest of the team to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy on a day to day basis.
- You will be assisting with the management of pharmacy stock and inventory.
- You will be addressing queries and communicating with patients, customers and others over the phone.
- You will be preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with standard operating procedures(SOPs) and regulatory guidelines.
- You will be completing the final accuracy check on dispensed medications before they are supplied to the patient.

Job Details:
Number of Positions: 1
​
Total Hours: Upto 18 hours
​
Schedule: Negotiable. 4-6 hour shifts over 2-3 days between Monday-Friday.

Example of shifts:
Wed 11:30am – 4:30pm
Thurs 11:30am – 4:30pm
Fri 11:30am – 4:30pm
(A total of 15 hours weekly)

Probation: 6 months
​​
Pay and Remuneration:
Upto £16/hr (Depending on experience)​​

Qualifications and Requirements:

Registration with the appropriate body as an ACT

A clearance on the enhanced DBS check.

A willingness to learn and a positive attitude towards work in a professional healthcare setting is essential.

Excellent IT skills and ability to adapt and learn new software and systems.

You will need to have exceptional communication skills and a passion for helping patients.

You can demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.

You will need the ability to work well in a team and adapt to fast-paced environments (as well as show efficiency in a slow-paced setting).
